About us
Your pharmacy on Washwood Heath Road
A community pharmacy in the heart of Ward End — here for prescriptions, advice, and the things you'd rather not queue at the surgery for.
Local healthcare, properly done
Ward End Pharmacy sits at 617 Washwood Heath Road, serving Ward End, Washwood Heath, Alum Rock, Saltley, Bordesley Green and Stechford.
We're a full-service community pharmacy: NHS dispensing and repeat prescriptions, Pharmacy First consultations, vaccinations, health checks, and a range of private services including our travel clinic.
We're open seven days a week, including Sunday afternoons — which matters when you need something and everywhere else is shut.
Our pharmacist
Our Superintendent Pharmacist is Sheraz Ahmed Qureshi (GPhC registration number 2048467), who is responsible for the safe and effective running of the pharmacy.
We have a private consultation room, so anything you'd rather not discuss at the counter can be discussed properly and confidentially.

Comments and complaints
If something hasn't gone right, we'd genuinely like to know — it's the only way we fix it.
Please speak to the pharmacist in the first instance, either in person or by calling 0121 328 7680. You can also write to us at the address above, or email wardendpharmacy@nhs.net.
